With the way this offseason is going many fans are hoping this is the year the Bills will return to the playoffs. It has been a long 10 + year’s drought.
First when you take a look at the schedule you can’t help to be pleased with your opponents. The Bills will take on this year the AFC South, NFC West and also the same rivals in the division.
First in our division the Bills I think are the surprise team here.
Everybody has the Patriots marked in pen to take the AFC East again but I think the Bills could get over looked. People have talked about the Bills offseason but are still not ready to say they will compete for the division title. The other two teams in the division Jets and Dolphins I think will struggle to reach .500.
The Jets will have issues at QB and eventually it will spread through the team and big problems could come because of it. The Dolphins just fresh off getting their franchise QB will have growing pains and I think Tannehill will struggle. Who are their wide receivers?
Next were going to talk about the NFC West. San Francisco out of this division will give the Bills the hardest time. Watching them play last year showed that they started to mesh very well and if that continues it could be a long day for the Bills. Arizona and (Seattle in Toronto) I think the Bills will be able to handle. Both teams are very unpredictable at the QB position and could hurt them not only against the Bills but for the rest of the season. The St Louis Rams I think could be the wild card team here. With their QB having another year under his belt this could be the year he gets this offense moving. The matchup I’ll like to see is how they can control the Bills new defensive look.
The other division the Bills will play is the AFC South. First and foremost we will get a look at Andrew Luck and the Colts. It will be interesting to see if he can get that team going again after a terrible season last year. Next going to Houston will be a home coming for Mario Williams. I’m sure he would love to have a great game against his former team. If the Texans are anything like last year this game could be one of the best in week 9. Looking at Jacksonville and Tennessee I think the Bills should be ok there as long as there healthy.
Lastly we will throw in the Cleveland Browns game and we’ll call it a season. I think the Bills will take this game but let’s please see something other than 6-3? I have the Bills pegged at 10 wins this year. Do you think its playoff eligible? We’ll have to see how it plays out but for now I think the Bills will come out rocking.
