For the past few weeks Beason has just been doing individual drills, but was just cleared to participate in the upcoming mini camp.

He also said ” his Achilles feels great, but quickly adds,”I haven’t really done anything yet.
Beason tore his Achilles at the beginning of the season last year and was forced to be sidelined for the rest of the year.
The injury happened soon after he just signed a huge 5 year deal, so as you could imagine the news was not very good to hear for the Panther’s organization or fans.
There has been some question on what LB position he would play when he returned with the Panthers selecting Luke Kuechly in the first round, and has stated that he would be ready to play any position. He was told that he would remain at the middle linebacker position.
The Panthers who went 6-10 last season and missed the playoffs for the third straight year look to turn it around, with a young, healthy, and talented LB core, and with an experienced Cam Newton.
