Patriots Looking To Return to Winning Ways

The New England Patriots are a world class football organization that is coming off a recent Super Bowl defeat. The Patriots have strengthened the core of their defense through means of the Draft with additions of players such as: DE Chandler Jones, LB Dont’a Hightower, DB Tavon Wilson, DE Jake Bequette and so many other sure to be outstanding rookies.

The Patriots have also added to their already explosive offense by signing WR Brandon Lloyd and many more receivers and tight ends as weapons for Tom Brady.

In recent Patriots news, the Patriots had their mini-camp in which on the final day Coach Bill Belichick gave the players off and sent them on their way not to return until training camp in around 5 weeks. Rob Gronkowski the TE that caught 17 receiving TDs, 90 passes and well over 1,000 receiving yards a year ago got himself a new 6-year $54 million contract with the Patriots.

Wes Welker who was present at mini-camp as he recently signed his franchise tender, but reports have stated that there has been no imminent progress in both sides reaching a long term deal. The Patriots are clear front runners from the AFC East and also the entire AFC. If New England plays their cards right and all the pieces fall into place, then I strongly believe that they could be the 2012 Super Bowl Champions!
