Buccaneers Rooks Report For Camp Today!

http://www.buccaneertalk.com/blog.asp?postId=ECWHCXEJBBUNBMSAQZSUHBAXGToday, July 18th, marks the beginning of the 2012 training camp for the incoming rookies for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. All rookies are scheduled to report to One Buc Place.

The only rookie that remains unsigned is first round draft pick safety Mark Barron. Barron will probably not be in attendance until his contract is in place. No, this is not a hold out scenario. The true training camp will not begin until July 27th.

By all indications Barron’s contract will be resolved in plenty of time for his participation.

The returning veterans will report to One Buc Place on July 26th and will begin full training camp the following morning. There will be nine (9) training camp practices that will be open and free to the public during this year’s training camp. Here is a copy of the camp schedule for those interested in attending.

As we wrote in our July 9th article “Training Camp Battles”, there should be some great competition to watch at several key positions. For a great deal of Buccaneers fans training camp will get you closer than you ever been for watching your team. For those with children, make sure you bring a camera, permanent marker and something for players to sign. Most of the players go out of their way before and after the practices to sign a lot of autographs. This photograph will give you a sample of how close you can be to the action. The players will come over to the orange barrier to meet and greet the fans and provide autographs.

We at BuccaneerTalk.com will be at all the practices and look forward to seeing some of our readers out there. As always, GO BUCS!
