The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a huge loss Sunday morning as Head Coach Andy Reid‘s son Garrett Reid died in his room at Lehigh University. The cause of death is unknown at this point, Howie Roseman addressed the media first this morning “Garrett Grew up with this team which makes this news even harder for us to process.”
“On a personal note we have been with Andy for a long time, he has always been strong for us so we are going to be strong for him right now. As a father and a friend we are all hurting.”
Jefferey Lurie also addressed the media in the afternoon as well as Offensive Coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, Michael Vick, Nnamdi Asomugha, and Jason Avant.
Jeffery Lurie said he expects Reid to be there at the first preseason game against the Steelers on August 9th. We at GetRealFootball.com are deeply saddened and our thoughts and prayers go out to the Reid family.
