Predicting the 2012 Kansas City Chiefs Wins/Losses

Copyright (c) 123RF Stock PhotosVs. Atlanta- Home opener against the Falcons and I think the Chiefs come out with lots of momentum. WIN

@ Buffalo- I consider the Bills pretty overrated at this point, and even though it’s a road game, I give the edge to the Chiefs at this point. WIN

@ New Orleans- The Saints offense is brutal and their defense appears to be playing like there’s money on the line. LOSS

Vs. San Diego- Whether or not Mathews is back could sway this game.

I think Mathews is still out and the Chiefs offense is too much. WIN

Vs. Baltimore- The Ravens defense proves to be too much for the Chiefs offense. LOSS

@ Tampa Bay- Traveling to Tampa after a tough home loss spells disaster as they drop 2 in a row. LOSS

Vs. Oakland- Rallying around a 2 game losing streak, rested off a bye and a division rival means…WIN

@ San Diego- The Chiefs can’t get up for big division games 2 weeks in a row, especially after flying out West. This one is a…LOSS

@ Pittsburgh- Brutal stretch, flying from one end of the country to another, and against another crushing defense. LOSS

Vs. Cincinnati- Back for some home cooking and as the weather turns cold, the Chiefs warm up. WIN

Vs. Denver- Huge home division game. With 2 more to go, they must get this one. WIN

Vs. Carolina- Cam Newton comes to town and serves the Chiefs up a big fat…LOSS

@ Cleveland- Winter road games are tough, except against the Brown. Chiefs catch a late season bye week. WIN

@ Oakland- Heading out west, the Raiders get some revenge. LOSS

Vs. Indianapolis- This late in the year the Colts are playing better, but not enough to beat a team pushing hard for the playoffs. WIN

@ Denver- 8-7 headed into the last game of the season with an AFC West title on the line. Chiefs rally and get their title. WIN

This is a best case scenario for the Chiefs. If they can stay healthy, they have enough talent to win 9 or 10 games and if they can do that they will win the AFC West and get back to the playoffs.
