Old school against new school. Two rings versus no rings.
In tonight’s NCF East showdown, we will see two different types of running backs with very effective running skills. Both players have a lot to prove this year and with this being a Wednesday night game, the football world will be watching.
Ahmad Bradshaw, in just five years in the pros all with the New York Giants already has staggering numbers.
Over 3,000 rushing yards and 26 tds in his career and coming off a year in which stat wise, was sub par for him. Out of Bluefield, VA and drafted from Marshall University, Bradshaw has the power game of a fullback and the agility of a scatback.
Last season, Bradshaw won his second SuperBowl ring and is looking for three joining elite running backs like; Emmitt Smith, Roger Craig, and Kevin Faulk all of whom have three rings with the same team.
DeMarco Murray, just finished up a spectacular rookie season with the Dallas Cowboys before fracturing his right ankle in week 14 vs the New York Giants. Murray has been a decorated football player all his life. Coming from Las Vegas, Nevada and then playing for the Oklahoma Sooners, same college as the great Adrian Peterson. After breaking nearly all the records for the Sooners, he was drafted to the Dallas Cowboys. Running for 253 yards against the Rams, breaking Emmitt Smith’s single-game record, it was clear DeMarco Murray was electrifying and a certified star in the league.
This will be the match up to see. Both players have a lot to prove still this upcoming season. Both teams have a rivalry untouched in the NFC East. Only one team can win but in my opinion whichever running back has the better game will lead their team into victory lane. This will not disappoint the NFL fan base no matter the outcome. Ahmad Bradshaw Vs. DeMarco Murray a distinguished battle we will hopefully see for years to come.
