To Ref or not to Ref?

These professional referees that judge NFL games are not the right men for the job. It has become ridiculous to watch football on Sundays. I look forward to enjoying the hard-hitting between the whistles, but now it’s before and after. There are reports that some of the refs are being more on the side of their fantasy players, and Facebook got in the picture by expelling a sideline judge from a game because of his fandom. What about just standing there and judging whether a play was holding or not?

To write about this unbelievable topic is mind-boggling and disrespectful to the NFL.

A brand that has made billions of dollars because of the great game is now dealing this dilemma. The new refs are not sure whether to believe their own eyes or the voices of players and coaches. Referees should never be an issue of discussion in football. They make bad calls and good calls and a lot of questionable calls, but they should always control the game when players are swinging punches. No matter what player threw a punch, they should be ejected. Professionalism is the very key to the integrity of this sport.

We can’t blame the business owners of these NFL teams and we can’t blame the commissioner of the league. The only blame goes to the refs we see every NFL football game this season. It has gone so out of hand, sport talk shows do not know how to explain it. I understand the speed of the game is faster and quicker than the ones those refs are accustomed too. It is okay to miss a call here and there but if the reason is because you want it for your own benefit, you should represent another brand.
