Week 8’s Most Impressive Team

This team crushed me last night. They took my heart and stomped it to pieces. As most of you know, I am an alum of West Virginia University. They got embarrassed on national TV by Kansas St. As a fan college football in general, I did not think Kansas State had the offense to keep up with the attack of WVU, but boy was I wrong. Kansas State looked fantastic against the terrible Mountaineer defense. Collin Klein has propelled himself to the top of the Heisman Trophy watch list.

Yesterday, only demonstrated how good this Kansas St. team really is.

They were dominant in all three phases on the game. The Wildcats’ special teams was sound except for the kick return, the defense was on lockdown against the WVU wide receivers, and the offense crushed an already terrible WVU defense. Kansas St. has a tough remaining road left to finish the year undefeated, but if you watched the game last night you can see they have the talent and coaching to complete it.

If any defense in the country can stop Collin Klein, I’d love to see that match up. Optimus Klein has 14 rushing td’s on the year to compliment his 10 td’s through the air. They have a great number two option in RB John Hubert who has 8 td’s on the ground. Let’s not forget about the underrated receiving core with Tyler Lockett, Travis Tannehill, Chris Harper, and Tremaine Thompson. The defense is sound and with the old (yes, Bill Snyder is very old) coach leading the way I think Kansas St. has a real chance to run the table and make the National Title game.
