In a tweet on May 22, former Chicago Bears middle linebacker announced his anticipated retirement from the NFL.
Urlacher tweeted, “It was an honor to play my entire for the @ChicagoBears…”
It was honor to have Urlacher play for Chicago as well.
He was the leadership and the heart of the defense, and while the Bears will continue to improve, he will be missed and it may be noticeable.
The announcement comes after he and the Bears parted separate ways in the off season. Urlacher only missed 26 games in his 13 seasons with Chicago and even when he wasn’t playing, he was on the sidelines with a headset and motivating the defense. A true leader. Continue reading


The Browns began their ota’s this week and with that comes new story lines and competition. We will review the browns Depth chart going into to this week’s team activities.
