It is interesting to see the change in attitude from a scared fan base that is us in the city of brotherly love. The expectations of the upcoming season are not that of Super Bowl or even playoffs for most and that seems to be ok. Every practice that the media is allowed to watch has turned into an event. Loud music during practice has become the topic of the day. The team is practicing now with no starting quarterback stated by anyone on the staff and no one bats an eye.A projected starting cornerback has never started over 4 games in his career and no few if any have called in radio stations to say boo.
There are plenty of things that the fan base can throw our hands in the air if we so choose.
Lately I find myself sitting back listening at how the anticipation never leaves this fan base. It is honestly a joy to behold. The only negative or sarcastic things said about the eagles in the past two weeks have been about the past and things that have transpired years ago. The thing that allowed me to understand completely about how much things have changed has to do with the coach’s decision to place wide receiver Jason Avant in the defensive backfield and plug offensive tight end Clay Harbor into linebacker slot.
